Not all “compostable” pods are equal
Most compostable pods only break down in an industrial composting facility — which most UK councils don't collect, so they end up in landfill anyway. Ours are certified home compostable: they break down in the compost bin or garden you already have.

Needs a commercial composting plant that reaches high temperatures. Rarely collected kerbside — so most end up in landfill.

Only recyclable if rinsed, separated and sorted correctly — which often doesn't happen, so they're landfilled or incinerated.
